At JC Plumbing & Heating, Inc., we stand behind our work. If you're not completely satisfied with our services, contact us within 30 days of service completion, and we'll work to make it right.

We are committed to providing high-quality plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services. Your satisfaction is our top priority. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be provided and the process for requesting one.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Services were not performed as agreed upon in writing
  • Work does not meet industry standards or local building codes
  • Equipment or parts installed are defective and cannot be repaired or replaced
  • Services were canceled before work began (service call fee may apply)

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team within 30 days of service completion by calling (760) 749-3400 or emailing help@jcplumbing.co.
  2. Provide Details: Explain the issue with your service, including your service date, invoice number, and a description of the problem.
  3. Inspection: In most cases, we will schedule a follow-up visit to inspect the work and attempt to resolve any issues.
  4. Resolution: We will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution, which may include re-performing the service, providing a partial refund, or issuing a full refund.

Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved:

  • Credit card refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
  • Check refunds will be mailed within 14 business days
  • Cash payments will be refunded by check

Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Diagnostic or service call fees for completed inspections
  • Custom-ordered parts or equipment
  • Services that have been completed to specification and accepted by the customer
  • Emergency service premiums (standard service rates may still be refundable)
  • Permits and inspection fees paid to local authorities

Re-Performance of Services

In many cases, rather than issuing a refund, we prefer to re-perform the service to ensure your satisfaction. If a service does not meet your expectations, we will send a technician to assess and correct any issues at no additional cost within the 30-day guarantee period.

Warranty Claims

Issues arising after the 30-day satisfaction guarantee period may still be covered under our labor warranty or manufacturer equipment warranties. Please contact us to discuss warranty coverage for your specific situation.
